Liu Zhigang is a renowned Chinese language educator at THISDL. He received his master’s degree from Beijing Language and Culture University. He's the author of the best-seller When Chinese goes wrong and chief editor of Tales of Teachers: Case Studies and Reflections from CFL Classrooms in North America, published by Peking University Press. He pioneered the WeChat channel "When Chinese goes wrong " and has mentored students in many Chinese institutions, including Lanzhou University, Northwest University, Zhejiang Normal University, and Sichuan International Studies University. With four major publications, he's a sought-after speaker at hundreds of Chinese and US institutions.
