廖智敏 Elise Liu

廖智敏,打击乐教师。美国伊斯曼音乐学院音乐学士, 瑞士洛桑音乐大学音乐硕士 (主修打击乐); 师随多位知名独奏家及作曲家, 当中包括 麦可.伯瑞, 伊马诺.赛尚内, 瓦希琳娜．瑟拉菲莫娃 以及 西蒙.鲁比诺。在海外留学期间, 她获得多项奖学金的资助, 包括学院院长优秀表演奖、香港卓越奖学金、万瑞庭音乐基金奖学金和香港赛马会音乐及舞蹈基金奖学金。此外, 她在本地及海外比赛中屡获殊荣。她于2019年澳洲国际马林巴琴大赛中夺得冠军, 亦在2017年威尔斯第70届兰戈伦国际音乐节中获得青年国际音乐家大奖。她在国际独奏比赛, 室内乐团, 交响乐团以及现代音乐团体中积累了丰富多样的表演经验。她热衷于与学生们分享自己的表演技巧，鼓励他们以真情实感的表演与观众沟通。

Elise Liu,Percussion Teacher.She received her Bachelor of Music in Percussion Performance from the Eastman School of Music (ESM) in the United States, and her Master of Arts in Percussion Performance from the University of Music Lausanne in Switzerland. Her professors include renowned soloists and composers such as Michael Burritt, EmmanuelSéjourné,VassilenaSerafimova, ArnaudStachnick& SimoneRubino. Her overseas studies are fully funded by the Dean’s Performance Award from ESM, the Hong Kong Scholarship for Excellence, the Bernard vanZuidenMusic Fund and the Hong Kong Jockey Club Music & Dance Fund. Elise has also received many prestigious awards, such as First Prize in the Australian Marimba Competition 2019 and the International Young Musician Award in the 70thLlangollenInternational Musical Eisteddfod. Elise has had rich and varied performing experiences in international solo competitions, chamber ensembles, symphony orchestras, as well as contemporary music ensembles. She is passionate about sharing her performance skills with her students and encouraging them to give genuine performances to connect with their audiences.
