陈涌川 Mike Chen

      陈涌川，乐队学院单簧管教师。他是一位单簧管演奏者，拥有丰富的演奏和教学经验。他获得了美国德保罗大学音乐硕士学位、欧柏林音乐学院音乐学士学位，目前正在韩国又松大学攻读工商管理博士学位。2021年至2024年，他曾任教于中山大学，教授单簧管演奏、室内乐和音乐史，并担任临届研究生班主任。 作为一位演奏家，他曾在美国多个交响乐团、剧院和室内乐团担任单簧管演奏。他的职业生涯亮点包括中央电视台（CCTV）演出、音乐教学卓越奖，以及多个职业交响乐团工作半决赛入围。作为获奖单簧管演奏者，他曾在佛山大剧院、深圳京山剧院和HE美术馆演出，并巡演至耶鲁大学、休斯顿、纳什维尔等国际舞台。师从史蒂芬·威廉姆森（芝加哥交响乐团）、李可思、理查德·霍金斯（欧柏林音乐学院）和耶胡达·吉拉德（南加州大学）等国际知名单簧管大师。

Yongchuan Chen (Mike Chen),Orchestral Academy clarinet Teacher. He is a distinguished clarinetist with a rich background in performance and teaching. He holds a Master of Music from DePaul University, a Bachelor of Music from Oberlin Conservatory, and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Business Administration at Woo Song University. From 2021 to 2024, he was a faculty member at Sun Yat-sen University, where he taught clarinet performance, chamber music, and music history, while also mentoring graduate students.

As a versatile performer, he has played as a substitute clarinetist with orchestras, theater productions, and ensembles across the United States. His career highlights include CCTV performances, awards for excellence in music instruction, and semi-finalist placements in symphony orchestra auditions. A prize-winning clarinetist, he has performed at Foshan Grand Theater, Shenzhen Jingshan Theater, and HE Art Museum, and toured internationally with Chicago Manual Cinema, appearing at venues such as Yale University, Houston, and Nashville.He has studied under some of the world's most renowned clarinetists, including Stephen Williamson (Chicago Symphony), Keith Lipson, Richard Hawkins (Oberlin), and Yehuda Gilad (USC), among others.
