2023.07教师来了 | 赵向明:重新发现知识
赵向明,中学科学教师兼社科教师,肯特州立大学地质学学士,布朗大学地球科学硕士。研究领域为气候史,对气候物理,环境地球化学,科学史等领域均有所涉猎,对中美教育实践有丰富的体验和思考。他注重引导学生独立思考,鼓励学生探索实际问题,且再现重要思想和方法的产生过程,以达到透彻领悟。他业余爱好读书和爬山。 Xiangming Zhao,SecondaryScience Teacher & Social Science Teacher,received his B.A. in Geology from Kent State and M.A. in Earth, Environmental, and Planetary Sciences from Brown University studying climate history. His expertise includes the physics of climate, environmental geochemistry, and the history of science. He encourages students to think independently, tackle real problems, and rediscover critical thoughts and methods on their own to achieve true understanding. He loves reading and hiking.

敬瑶,高中科学组组长兼高中化学教师,科创项目高研实验室主任兼有机与应用化学实验室导师。美国埃默里大学(Emory University)化学专业博士。期间从事小分子药物合成,致力于研究可用于神经退行性疾病(帕金森病)治疗的NMDA受体的GluN2C/D选择性拮抗剂,拥有丰富的实验室工作经验,发表两项专利。 Dr. Jing, the secondary school science department head and high school chemistry teacher, the director of the Advanced Research Laboratory of the Science Innovation Program (SIP) and the mentor of the Organic and Applied Chemistry Laboratory. She got her Ph.D. in Chemistry from Emory University, USA. During this period, she was engaged in the synthesis of small molecule drugs, and has been developed a class of GluN2C/D-selective antagonists of the NMDA receptors for the treatment of neurodegenerative diseases (Parkinson's disease). 2023.07AP课程|清香新学年开设更多AP课程,满足学生个性化学术发展需求
前不久,清香国际双语学部传来喜讯:清香学子在首年AP考试中表现优异,9-11年级的49名学生,参加的14门科目的68场考试,多门学科平均分超过全国以及全球平均分;参加2D艺术与设计考试的11名考生,得到7名获5分,3名获4分的佳绩;生物、微积分AB全班荣获5分;整体来看,4分及以上的高分得分率更是高达70%。
