Keith Adam Lipson 李可思

Keith Adam Lipson, from the US. He was born in a doctor's family in Cambridge, Massachusetts. He began to learn clarinet at the age of 8. He participated in the International Clarinet Association Solo Competition at the age of 16 and won the first prize. The same year, he was admitted to Curtis Institute of Music, becoming the youngest clarinet student in the history of the school. He studied at the Curtis Institute of Music and University of Southern California successively. He is an excellent clarinet player, conductor and educator. He is formerly a visiting professor at the Middle School Attached to the Central Conservatory of Music, a visiting expert lecturer at the Chengdu University of Technology, and a visiting conductor of the Dunshan Symphonic Wind Orchestra. He was the principal clarinetist of the Verbier Symphony Orchestra in Switzerland, the KBS Korean Broadcasting Symphony Orchestra, the Knights Symphony Orchestra in New York and the Beijing Symphony Orchestra, and a professor at the Yehudi Menuhin School in Qingdao. Many of his students have been admitted to top music schools and conservatories in the United States and Europe, including Curtis School of Music, Juilliard School of Music, Yale University, Eastman School of Music, Cleveland Institute of Music, Colburn School of Music, Royal Academy of Music, Cologne Academy of Music, Hamburg Academy of Music, Interlochen Art School, etc.
