Dr. Chunmei Li, from the US. She obtained her PhD from Texas A&M University and has been teaching Chemistry for 20 years. She was a member of the Click Chemistry project when she was a research associate at the Scripps Research Institute working for Nobel Laureate Prof. Sharpless. Dr. Li then relocated to California and worked at UC Berkeley where she collaborated with Prof. Bertozzi who was also a Nobel Laureate in 2023 in designing a course. There she served as a Grant Reviewer for the American Chemical Society, Petroleum Research Fund. After coming to China, Dr. Li worked as a visiting scholar at Dalian University of Technology and has several papers published each year in peer-reviewed journals in America. In 2021 Dr. Li took a science teacher position. Over half of her students scored 5 on AP Chemistry exams. Over 30% of her AP Chemistry students participated in international Chemistry competitions and all of them won awards. All students in her Fryer Math competition achieved top 25% or above. She is active in research on Organic Chemistry and Polymer Chemistry.
