Lionel Spinosa 柳恩勰, from France, holds a Master in Applied English and German from the University of Provence, a Master Degree in Business Administration from the same university, and an Executive MBA from Marseilles Business School. In Paris, he worked at various investment banks. In London, he was Associate Director for Barclays Bank. In Beijing, he gained a Certificate of Advanced Level in Mandarin Chinese and a Certificate of Advanced Research in Chinese Studies from Beijing Foreign Languages University. He then worked as Associate Professor for Beijing Foreign Studies University. There, he taught Linguistics, Greek and Roman Rhetoric, Stylistics, Medieval history, Modern History, and Art History. Prof. SPINOSA also taught at Beijing Language and Culture University and Renmin University of China. In 2022, in Beijing, Prof. SPINOSA published his major book, Linguistics, from Plato to Chomsky.
