Émile Phaneuf（麦利），法裔加拿大艺术家兼教育工作者。他先后毕业于加拿大蒙特利尔康考迪亚大学雕塑系（学士）和北京清华大学美术学院雕塑系（硕士）。作为活跃于中加两国的艺术家，他参展经验丰富，其作品不仅入选2023年安徽芜湖双年展并荣获"创意创新"奖，最新个展还获得了加拿大驻华使馆魁北克办公室的专项支持——该展览目前正在北京桥福芳草地艺术空间展出。在艺术实践方面，麦利持续探索中西方当代艺术的交融共生。凭借英语、法语和汉语三语优势，他积极推动东西方跨文化交流，并在教学实践中始终倡导 "安全、协作、包容" 三大核心理念。
Émile Phaneuf, French-Canadian, completed his BFA in Sculpture with honours from Concordia University in Montreal, Canada, and holds an MFA in Sculpture from Tsinghua University in Beijing. With a substantial exhibition record, including shows in both Canada and China, he recently received the "Creative Innovation" award at the Wuhu Museum 2023 Anhui Province Biennale and has garnered support from the Canadian Embassy’s Quebec Bureau for his most recent exhibition at Parkgreen Fangcaodi in Beijing. Émile continues to deepen his understanding of the interconnections between Western and Chinese contemporary art. Fluent in English, French, and Chinese, he advocates for multiplying cross-cultural interactions between East and West. Safety, collaboration, and inclusion are the three keywords he promotes in the classroom.
