5月31日周一的清晨，伴着明媚的晨光，清华附中稻香湖校区的老师们踏入校园，迎接他们的是手持鲜花的孩子们。稻香湖校区首届家委会紧张有序地筹备了两个星期的谢师周活动正式开启。
On Monday morning, May 31st, the 1st Teacher Appreciation Week Celebration of Tsinghua High School DL Campus began with the bright morning sunshine lighting the way. When teachers stepped into the main hall, they were surprised and warmly greeted by students presenting them with flowers. The week was the culmination of the preparation which the first Parent Council of DL Campus had been doing for two weeks.
在为期一周的谢师周活动中，家委会和每个学生都用心参与，以多姿多彩的形式，表达对师恩的感谢，使整个校园都充满了感恩的温馨氛围。孩子们为老师手写了感谢卡，或者绘制了惟妙惟肖的老师画像，还有美妙的歌声，随初夏的风回荡在校园里。
During the Teacher Appreciation Week, the Parent Council and each student participated in the events with much effort and love, filling the campus with a warm atmosphere of gratitude. Some of them made hand-written Thank You cards, while others drew vivid portraits of their teachers. Throughout the week, beautiful songs for the teachers swirled through the halls like an early summer breeze.
周三一早，家长们在家委会的带领下，安静地汇集在校园里，开始谢师周庆典活动的准备。老师们在结束了一天的工作之后，受邀来到学校下沉花园集会厅参加谢师周庆典。现场摆满了家长们亲手制作的点心、礼物、鲜花和孩子们的绘画作品，缤纷温馨的装饰衬托着微笑与祝福，每一位老师、学生和家长都沉浸在温馨喜悦中。
Before the sun rose on Wednesday morning, the Parent Council had already gathered volunteers quietly on campus to set up the main Teacher Appreciation celebration. After a long day of work, the teachers were invited to the sunken garden for the celebration. The site was filled with homemade desserts, gifts, flowers and student artworks expressing gratitude to their teachers. The smiles on the faces of every teacher, student, and parent outshone the colorful and bright decorations, as the DL family celebrated together.
家委会主席邢女士代表家长发言：“这是一次家庭聚会，在中国传统文化中老师是家庭的一部分。谢谢老师的辛苦工作，您们的才华、宽容、严格要求、以身作则、风趣耐心而友好……谢谢您们！”家长们都表示，孩子们能在和谐有爱的校园里茁壮成长、全面发展，这离不开学校全体领导老师的言传身教，从中也看到了每一位老师“捧着一颗心来，不带半根草去“的为师风范。此次活动，家长们希望以谢师周为契机，用实际行动表达对老师们辛勤工作说不尽的感动、感谢和感恩。
The chair of the Parent Council, Ms. Xing, gave the opening remarks, saying, “This celebration is a family gathering. In Chinese tradition, a teacher is always a part of the family. Thank you, our teachers, for your hard work, talent, tolerance, holding up high standards, being role models, being funny, patient, friendly…you are all of these and much more. Thank you!" Parents all said that their children can grow up and develop in such a harmonious and loving environment, which is inseparable from the words and deeds of all the school leaders and teachers. They also feel the spirit of giving from all the teachers who always hold the whole heart for the children without expecting anything in return. Parents hope to take the events as an opportunity to express their sincere gratitude to teachers for their hard work.
李校长和何校长与家长、孩子们亲切合影，同时对家长们如此用心的准备表达了真挚的感谢。李校长表示，首届家委会就筹备了如此惊艳的活动，让全体老师都感到了幸福与感动。活动也充分体现了稻香湖大家庭积极融洽的家校关系，这使大家相信，学校和每个家庭在未来肯定会更紧密地合作，共同助力对孩子们的教育，为他们的成长赋能。
The Executive Principal, Ms. Li and the Academic Principal, Mr. Holder were on hand to express sincere appreciation for everything the parents have contributed to the first year of DL Campus and for their continued support. Ms. Li said that it was really surprised and touched to participate in such an amazing celebration prepared by the Parent Council. The event also fully reflected the positive home-school relationship, which can make everyone believe that the school and each family will cooperate more closely in the future to strengthen education and empower children’s growth.
每位老师都欣喜地找到了藏在点心和礼物之间的专属谢师卡，读到了孩子们字里行间满满的感谢与深深爱意。孩子们的感恩鼓舞着每一位老师以更多的爱和饱满的热情继续投入到教学中。
Every teacher found a special Thank You card hidden among the desserts and gifts, and was deeply touched by the expressions of gratitude and love. The gratitude from the children and parents encourages every teacher to devote themselves to teaching with more love and full enthusiasm.

清华附中国际部每年都如期举办谢师周活动，以此感谢老师对孩子们的谆谆教导，同时能够从小培养孩子们懂得感恩。每年家委会都精心筹备，希望通过组织这样的活动让孩子们得到学习实践的机会，把尊师重教的中国传统文化潜移默化教给孩子们。
Teacher Appreciation Week is held annually at THIS, and is a way to thank the teachers for all they do for our students. The celebration helps foster a sense of being grateful among the students and gives everyone the opportunity to practice the traditional Chinese custom of respecting teachers.
此次谢师周活动由清华附中稻香湖校区首届学生及家委会举办，是家校共建的一次成功展现。学生、家长和老师们都在活动中真切体会到了稻香湖大家庭的温暖。
The Teacher Appreciation Week held by the students and the Parent Council of the first school year of DL Campus is a successful demonstration of home-school collaboration. All teachers, students, and parents reaffirmed their sense of belonging to the DL family during the celebration.

Over the past year, with the full support and guidance from Tsinghua High School and THIS, as well as the contributions of all leaders and teachers, Tsinghua High School DL Campus has shown a splendid development, and the achievements of the first school year have been widely and highly recognized by the parents. As the wind is right to set sail, it is time for all the families and the School to deepen the collaboration for a brighter future. Let’s look forward to a more fruitful education for every child of DL Campus with the good beginning.
