THIS 2021 ART FESTIVAL
艺术激发无限可能
每一年，清华附中国际部都会举办激动人心的艺术节，学生们通过全校艺术展、电影节、舞台表演和互动工作坊等形式展示自己的作品，表现自己的艺术创造力。今年，附中校区和稻香湖校区的艺术节先后在5月21日和5月24日成功举办。值得一提的是，这是国际部稻香湖校区的首届艺术节。这届艺术节凝聚了大家的心血，在师生们的帮助与支持下，艺术教研组老师们为同学们提供了30余个工作坊，同学们轮流体验，“忙”的不亦乐乎，真是一场艺术盛宴！
The THIS Art Festival is an exciting annual event where the community comes together to celebrate the arts. Students showcased their work through a school wide art exhibition, film festival, stage performances, and interactive workshops. This year's Art Festival also marked the first one ever at THIS DL!

在附中校区，西方艺术的老师们在教学中带领同学们一同探索了绘画、纺织、拼贴、版画、雕塑、陶艺等多种艺术类型。在小学东方艺术课中，孩子们探索了书法、国画、传统工艺等。中学东方艺术课上，小写意花鸟和瓜果蔬菜、甲骨文字绘、传统的黑白木刻版画、永乐宫壁画、山水画、浮世绘等丰富的艺术形式让同学们沉浸其中。这一幅幅画作由色彩和线条的交织构成，让人驻足和流连。
On the THIS FZ campus, teachers of Western art explored painting, textiles, collage, print, sculpture, ceramics, and other art types with the students. In the primary school Eastern Art Class, the students explored calligraphy, traditional Chinese painting, and traditional crafts. In the secondary school Eastern Art Class, students were immersed in various art forms, such as small freehand compositions of flowers and birds, and fruits and vegetables; oracle bone inscriptions; traditional black and white woodcut prints; Yongle Palace murals; landscape painting; ukiyo painting; and so on. All of the works drew the viewers in to stop and linger over the interwoven colors and lines.
在稻香湖校区的“手绘京剧：脸谱&剪纸工作坊”里， 学生们创作了手绘京剧脸谱，并观看了中国传统剪纸制作的视频。在“波普艺术肖像工作坊”，同学们使用自准备的自己或家人的肖像，然后同学们使用涂鸦水性笔在肖像的表面进行工作，使它最终看起来像波普艺术家安迪·沃霍尔的一幅画。同样精彩的还有“手工乐器制作坊”和“非凡摄影坊”，同学们在欢声笑语中收获了自己的乐器小模型和一张张富有艺术气息的照片。
For DL campus, in the "Mask Painting & Papercut Workshop", students created hand-painted Peking Opera Masks and watched videos on how to make traditional Chinese papercuts. In the " Pop Arts Portrait Workshop", students prepared portraits of themselves or a family member, and then used graffiti water-based pens to turn the portraits into an Andy Warhol inspired piece. In the “DIY Instrument Workshop” and “Fabulous Photography”, students were inspired to create a physical instrument and to capture the world around them through a camera lens.

表演艺术
Performing Arts
在附中校区，小学部各班级在学校礼堂进行了音乐表演，中学部的学生们也表演了拉丁舞、独白、喜剧、戏剧和晚宴作品，学校的乐队演奏了各种各样的音乐，并且尝试在演奏的间隙换乐器、探索不同的弹奏位置。如此精彩的表演得益于他们日常多元化的音乐课程，使得他们可以一边玩耍，一边在感受中学习音乐！
On the THIS FZ campus, all primary school classes presented musical performances in the auditorium. Secondary school students also performed Latin dance, presented monologues, comedies and dramas; and held a dinner theatre production. THIS bands played a wide selection of music, and even exchanged instruments during the course of the performance. One could really see how the students were able to learn music while having fun!
在稻香湖校区的“疯狂音乐”戏剧工作坊里，同学们学习了编舞并体验了角色扮演。在“中国传统戏曲舞蹈工作坊”，同学们学习了“戏曲体操”，一个个小演员们成为了像摸像样的“武生花旦”！
For DL campus, in the “Musical Madness” theatre workshop, students sang to a choreographed dance from “The Lion King”. In the " Chinese Opera Dance workshop", the students learned "opera broadcast gymnastics", and became little Peking Opera actors!
游走在校园各处，各式各样的表演和工坊，有的活泼，有的安静。艺术节带领同学们插上了艺术的翅膀，感受艺术的无限可能！
No matter which campus you were on, no matter whether the activity was lively or more contemplative, every corner saw the community active in workshops and performances. This year’s Arts Festival was a rousing success that elevated the love of the arts at THIS to new heights!
