Francisco de la Serna Sabate from Spain. He earned his BSc in Biology from the University of Seville and his PhD in Marine Science and Technology from Nagasaki University in Japan. He has been an educator for the past decade in international schools across China, with experience as a Secondary Science Teacher, IB Coordinator, and Science Department Head. Francisco is passionate about creating collaborative, inquiry-based classrooms that connect scientific concepts to the real world. He loves to challenge and support his students as they develop into critical thinkers and principled global citizens. In his spare time, he enjoys building dioramas, playing guitar, and scuba diving.
