Sahika Ucar, from the UK, holds an MSc in Biomedical Sciences from London Metropolitan University, a BSc in Microbiology from London South Bank University, and an iPGCE from the University of Derby. Sahika is an educator with over ten years of international teaching experience in Life Science and Biology. She is also certified in TEFL (UK) and trained in IB, NGSS, and Cognia frameworks. Her teaching is informed by educational research and focuses on interdisciplinary learning that connects Biology to real-world questions. She believes in creating calm, caring environments where inquiry, evidence-based thinking, and student voice are valued. Outside the classroom, she enjoys travelling, reading science fiction, and exploring new foods.
