William Joseph Fisher Vautour has been teaching abroad for approximately four years. He holds a degree in History from the University of Victoria in British Columbia, Canada, and a state teaching license in secondary Social Studies and English Language Arts. He is currently pursuing a master’s degree in History through the Open University in the United Kingdom and is nearing HSK4-level Chinese proficiency. His academic interests include early medieval Britain and Ireland, as well as early modern Western Europe. In his free time, he enjoys reading history and philosophy, practicing Chinese, traveling throughout China, and weightlifting.
