THISDL Future City Campus
School Profile
  • "THISDL Future City Campus" officially launched! Led by the Changping District Education Commission, this flagship project is now operational. Spanning 148 mu (about 24.5 acres) with a construction area of 125,000 square meters, the campus features state-of-the-art facilities and advanced equipment, combining modern technology with international sophistication. As a high-quality international school, it is committed to providing dual-track education that merges Chinese and international curricula. Offering a seamless Grade 1–12 Sino-global dual-track program, the campus continues the educational system of THISDL, implementing a unified curriculum, teaching methods, and management approach. Together with THISDL, it creates a “One School, Two Campuses — Dual-Core Operations” model.

High-quality education relies on a team of teachers who are forward-thinking, experienced, and passionate. THISDL Future City Campus  was established under the leadership of  THISDL as a dual-campus model. Unified management by the THISDL leadership ensures consistent educational philosophy and quality between the new campus and the main campus, realizing the development strategy of “One School, Two Campuses, Dual-Core Operation.”

Chairman  Dianjun Wang, Secretary Yuzhen Du, Head of School & Party Secretary Cynthia Xin, Foreign Head of School Donald Jonathan Holder, and Executive Principal Lillian Zhao collectively form the highest leadership of the THISDL-FCC. They will provide robust top-level design capabilities, clear educational guidance, and solid strategic development support for the campus.


Senior Management Team


Dianjun Wang | Chairman

Renowned contemporary educator and national education supervisor. Chairman of the International Characteristic Schools Branch of the China Private Education Association. Served as Principal of Tsinghua University High School from January 2007 to July 2022. Holds a Ph.D. in Mathematics from Peking University and completed postdoctoral research at Tsinghua University's Department of Mathematics. Formerly Professor and doctoral advisor at Tsinghua University's Department of Mathematics, where he also served as Head of the Graduate Student Affairs Group, Deputy Party Secretary, Party Secretary, and Director of the Institute of Basic Education.


Cynthia Xin | Head of School & Party Secretary

Graduated from the Mathematics Departments of East China Normal University and Peking University, and the Faculty of Education at Tokyo Gakugei University in Japan. Senior High School Teacher with nearly 30 years of teaching experience at Tsinghua University High School. Served as Vice Principal of Tsinghua University High School and Executive Principal of Tsinghua University High School Shangdi Campus. In 2017, was commissioned by Tsinghua University High School to establish Qinglanshan School. Returned to Beijing in 2021 to serve as Principal of Beijing Haidian THISDL a position he holds to this day.


Yuzhen Du | Secretary

Vice Chairperson of THISDL. A Special Grade Teacher and Senior-Level Teacher with 42 years of experience in basic education. Chairperson of the Tsinghua University High School Education Foundation, one of the first experts in the Ministry of Education's National Teacher Training Program, and Head of the Subject Mentor Group at the Haidian District Master Teacher Workstation. Previously served as Vice Principal of Tsinghua University High School, Legal Representative of Tsinghua University High School Guanghua Campus, Secretary and Executive Principal of Tsinghua University High School Guanghua Campus, and Legal Representative of Tsinghua University High School Guan Zhuang Campus.


Donald Jonathan Holder | Foreign Head of School

Originally from the United States, he studied at Oberlin College and the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University. With nearly 30 years of deep involvement in China's education sector, he was appointed as a school-level administrator at a renowned public high school in China. He has served as Vice Principal and Principal at Shenzhen Middle School, Peking University High School, and Hong Kong's Hong Kong Academy. He was a founding team member of Shenzhen Peking University High School Nanshan Campus and Shenzhen Middle School Yadi School.


Lillian Zhao | Executive Principal

Holds a master's degree from Beijing Normal University. Taught English for ten years at Renmin University High School and led English curriculum development, teacher training, and exam question design at Haidian District Teacher Training School. Previously served as Middle School Principal at Chaoyang Kevin School, Deputy Director of the Education Research Institute at Qingmiao Education Group, and Principal of Haidian Qingmiao School. She is a Beijing Municipal English Subject Leader, mentor at the Haidian District Master Teacher Workstation, and core editor of the People's Education Press High School English textbook.


Under the leadership of the core team, a dedicated, efficient management and executive team for the THISDL-FCC has been established. They will jointly oversee key responsibilities including curriculum development, academic management, and student development, ensuring the school's steady progress.


Middle Management Team


Alice Qin | High School Principal and Curriculum Director

Bachelor of Physics, Beijing Normal University; Master of Education, The University of Hong Kong; IB Certified Teacher and DP Physics Examiner. With 17 years of international education experience, he has held core management positions including Academic Director and served as a homeroom teacher for 10 years, excelling in integrating curriculum and academic development.


Jack Wang  Middle School Vice Principal

Master of Chinese Language and Literature, The Education University of Hong Kong. Held key positions from teacher to Academic Dean at Tsinghua University Affiliated High School Integrated School, receiving multiple district-level honors and undertaking municipal-level research projects.


Ethan Wang | Chinese Elementary School Principal

Bachelor of Elementary Education from Capital Normal University, Master of Education Management from Renmin University of China, Doctor of Education from Loyola University Chicago. Senior Elementary Teacher, Haidian District Subject Expert, National-Level Family Education Instructor. Possesses 15 years of teaching, homeroom, and moral education management experience in both public and private schools.


The subject teacher team at THISDL-FCC is equally formidable. It comprises core faculty from the main campus alongside globally recruited talent.

The Elite Force from the Main Campus: Several senior teachers will transfer directly from the THISDL. They bring not only extensive teaching experience, profound subject expertise, and deep understanding of the core curriculum, but also the mature teaching methodologies, management experience, and outstanding campus culture of the main campus to THISDL-FCC.

Distinguished Educational Leaders: To support THISDL-FCC specialized development, expansion, and curriculum innovation, we have recruited a group of outstanding subject leaders and core faculty members. They bring diverse international perspectives, cutting-edge educational concepts, and innovative vitality to the campus, along with deep insights into college entrance exam preparation, specialized teaching approaches, and proven expertise.

With forward-thinking planning and exceptional architectural design, the school has meticulously created a comprehensive, high-standard educational environment. The campus boasts over a dozen professional sports venues, including a 50-meter Olympic-sized swimming pool, volleyball hall, squash hall, gymnastics hall, basketball hall, tennis hall, and more. Additionally, it features a theater, multifunctional auditorium, and rehearsal studios, providing a stage for drama, music, and dance enthusiasts to develop and showcase their talents. Here, we adopt a diversified evaluation system to encourage students to cultivate their strengths, allowing them to appreciate beauty and lay the foundation for lifelong happiness. The school will also establish specialized laboratories, including an AI Lab, FabLab Digital Fabrication Lab, VEX Robotics Design and Programming Lab, and other advanced research labs, empowering students to discover their passions and talents while receiving full support from the school.
