With the wave of artificial intelligence sweeping the globe, computational thinking and programming skills have become the "new mother tongue" for future talent. THISDL officially announces the enrollment for its Xiaoshengchu (Primary to Middle School) NOI. Relying on top-tier master teachers, the program aims to pave a clear growth path for students aspiring to explore fields such as the Information Olympiad—guiding them from initial interest to achieving competition success.

The Music Innovation Program (MIP), also known as THISDL Orchestra Academy, was established in April 2023 under the leadership of Principal Cynthia Xin at THISDL. American clarinetist and educator Keith Lipson serves as the program's Artistic Director, leading a faculty team of 27 experts from nine countries. Instrument instruction covers piano, violin, viola, cello, double bass, flute, clarinet, oboe, bassoon, horn, trumpet, trombone, tuba, percussion, harp, vocal arts, and music production. From 2024, the Academy also offers traditional Chinese instruments, including the erhu, guzheng, pipa, bamboo flute, and ruan. The curriculum includes instrumental lessons, chamber music, orchestra, music theory, ear training, and music history.

Recently, Principal Cynthia of THISDL was honored with the title of "2025 China's Outstanding Principal." This accolade not only recognizes her years of dedication to the field of education but also serves as high recognition of THISDL's educational philosophy and practical achievements. At the 2025 World Principals Forum, Principal Cynthia shared the school's educational thinking and practical exploration in complex educational environments under the theme "Unlocking Innate Potential, Igniting Intrinsic Motivation," offering valuable insights for the development of international and internationalized schools in the new era.
