In September, the crisp autumn air is clear, and the first fruits of the season are beginning to ripen. On the THISDL campus, a brand-new chapter is slowly unfolding to the prelude of this golden autumn. Vitality and new encounters ripple through the brand-new competition arena; curiosity and new knowledge burst forth in the classrooms; the melodies of art echo through the hallways; and the seeds of innovation take root and sprout deep within our hearts. This September, we are not merely those setting out on a journey—we are also seekers of light and dream-builders. Let us come together for THISDL’s grand September celebration, pursuing our passions on every new journey and gathering strength for growth!

As the shutter clicked for the group photo at the closing ceremony, the THISDL 2026 High School National Defense Education and Junior High School Orientation Programs officially came to a successful conclusion. From the resounding opening command at the opening ceremony to the spirited performance at the closing ceremony, over the course of these few days, the seventh- and tenth-grade students shed their childishness and, through sweat and perseverance, gained growth, unity, and a sense of responsibility.

On the evening of August 30, 2026, the THISDL Humanities Scholars Program (HSP) was officially launched in the Multimedia Conference Room (CB10) at THISDL.Principal Cynthia Xin attended the ceremony, delivered remarks, and presented appointment certificates to the HSP mentors. Mr. Holder, Chairman of the Academic Committee, Vivian An, Student Founder and Student Director of HSP, and Ms Rita Zhang, Faculty Director, also addressed the audience.School leaders, division principals, faculty members, and studens across divisions gathered to mark this important moment, with the ceremony also livestreamed online.
